i would never get a taste of hood strawberries:( but those profiteroles just look like they would fit right here in my tummy:)

ooh...don't be sad...i'm sure where you live there's a good type of strawberry you can enjoy :) as for the cream puffs, now this is something that you can enjoy if you make it yourself

Oh, the U-pick strawberry season on the East Coast is cruelly short! We went last Friday and are trying to get through the three pounds we ended up with (hey, I was picking with my two kids!). This recipe will be just the thing. I even have cream puffs already made and frozen, just waiting for some mocha cream. Yippee.

I found you on TasteSpotting and am writing to say that if you have any photos that aren’t accepted there, I’d love to publish them. Visit my new site (below), it’s a lot of fun! I hope you will consider it.

it's the same here too, this local strawberrries will last only about a month. they're not very sturdy, so if we get too much rain/heat they'll perish on the farm :) thanks for inviting me to your blog, I'll keep it in mind!

These are so pretty, Liz! I love strawberries - they are in season here now too, oddly enough in the winter - and I can't wait to use them in my recipes.

I wonder if they're similar to what they call "French Strawberries" at our local Farmer's market. They're tiny, sweet strawberries- soooo good, and so much different than the regular type. I've never done a U-Pick before, but I'm hoping to pick my own blueberries when we visit Maine this summer! Your cream puffs look amazing!

yes, you have to try u-picking it's addicting! i bet you can't stop with just 1 bucket!
